A harsh criticism of the those of the independence generation (Andu a Madaraka) who worship money and waste it on alcohol and reckless womanizing that destroys domestic life. The inability to budget and to put the family first results in unpaid school fees and unpaid wages for domestic workers. This tongue-lashing is extended to "gold-digger" girls who date any man for his money.
