Tina like any Kenyan artists developed her singing talent in her local church. Her first public performance was on television as one of the 14 contestants, selected from a pool of 500, in the 1st East African Project Fame competition, in 2006. Tina recently graduated with a diploma in journalism and public relations from the Kenya Polytechnic. She plans to make a career in both her academic pursuits and her music interests, wanting to emulate Kenyan musician Eric Wainaina for his lyrical creativity and simplicity. 'Nisaidie' which means help me in Kiswahili is a tribute song to the destitute African child.
